Digitization Lab

The Nicolet Library System (Nicolet) is proud to launch the Digitization Lab, a new resource dedicated to helping preserve local history, community stories, and unique collections for future generations. 

The Digitization Lab is available to member library staff, library volunteers, and other community members engaged in digitization projects throughout Nicolet communities. Whether you're digitizing photographs, documents, newspapers, audiovisual recordings, or other historical materials, the lab offers resources and equipment to help you achieve your preservation goals. 

To help users get started, the Digitization Lab Resource Guide provides valuable information, best practices, and helpful tips for planning and carrying out successful digitization projects. It's a great first stop for anyone interested in preserving and sharing local history. 

The launch of the Digitization Lab reflects Nicolet's commitment to supporting libraries and communities in preserving their unique stories and making them more accessible to future generations.
