Take a moment to update your bookmarks and save the new InfoSoup catalog homepage: https://infosoup.na5.iiivega.com/. That way, you'll always have the quickest route to search the catalog, manage your account, place holds, and discover what's new at your library. InfoSoup.info is still the main InfoSoup landing page for catalog-related information, resources, and links. It also includes a link to the new catalog in the search bar, header, and menu. We’re excited to share that the InfoSoup catalog and library account experience will soon be getting a refresh. The updated experience will make it easier to search, discover, and manage your library account. Over the coming months, we’ll be sharing sneak peeks, helpful tips, and important updates to help make the transition as smooth as possible. What you can expect:
There may be a few temporary service interruptions during the transition in August, but we’ll keep you informed every step of the way. Keep an eye on the InfoSoup website and social media for updates, previews, and more information in the months ahead. A refreshed library experience is on the way. Subscribe to Newsletters from Nicolet Library Card Sign-Up Month begins next week, and once again, OWLS and Nicolet member libraries will receive promotional stickers to help celebrate this special time of year. OWLS and Nicolet will share the following Facebook post (see video below) on September 1 at 7 PM. Feel free to share the post, or even the individual image(s) within the post, on your library's Facebook page. You are also more than welcome to create your own posts using the same sample copy and images that were emailed to library directors today. However, Facebook is cracking down on duplicated content, so it's better to share the post than to create your own using the same images and copy.  Do you love your local library? Have you benefited from library programs, resources, or services? Now is your chance to make your voice heard! The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) is collecting short video testimonials to highlight the real-life impact of federal funding on public libraries across the state. These videos will be featured on DPI’s social media to showcase why libraries matter and why continued funding is essential. How You Can Participate Creating and submitting a video is simple! Just grab your phone, tablet, or computer and record a short testimonial (30-45 seconds, up to 1 minute max). Your video should focus on the importance of federal funding for public libraries and how it has personally impacted you.

Subscribe to Newsletters from NFLS We had so much fun last year that we’re doing it again – join the fun starting Friday, May 24.  What is the InfoSoup Library Road Trip, you ask? It’s a fun and exciting initiative that invites you to visit 49 library locations spread across 10 counties in Northeast Wisconsin.
Here’s how it works:
From Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend, the InfoSoup Library Road Trip offers a fantastic opportunity to discover new communities, learn about local history and culture, and connect with fellow library enthusiasts. So, dust off your map, fuel up the car, and get ready to hit the road with the InfoSoup Library Road Trip! Don’t forget to share your Road Trip adventures on social media using #LibraryRoadTrip. Happy travels! For more information and a list of participating libraries, visit infosoup.info/roadtrip. Let the adventure begin!  Nicolet Federated Library System (NFLS) and Outagamie Waupaca Library System (OWLS) libraries are sending messages that stick with custom vinyl stickers to celebrate Library Card Sign-Up Month throughout September.
Library card holders new and old are encouraged to spread the excitement of getting their Wisconsin library cards by showing off these fun, custom stickers on their water bottles, phone cases, laptops, social media, and elsewhere! Each sticker also draws awareness to getyourlibrarycard.org, which explains the importance of library cards and shows people how they can get library cards within their own counties. Be on the lookout for similar promotions in libraries throughout the state, as public libraries all over Wisconsin are helping spread the word about Library Card Sign-Up Month with these one-of-a-kind, Wisconsin-themed stickers.
